Google Introduces Gaming Cloud Service ‘Stadia’

Google has veered off the video game streaming platform ‘Stadia’ so that it can take its place in the traditional video game business. Google announced it during the k Game Developer Conference l organized in San Francisco. Beginning this service, Google CEO Sundar Pichai said, this platform is for everyone. 

‘Stadia’ is a client based service that can be played by logging in with the help of internet. However, Google will only be able to access Chrome using Chrome browser, Chrome OS, pixel phones and chromebooks. Google has not yet disclosed the price for this service, nor has it been told that it will be free or whether the subscription is based. This service has just launched for America, Canada, UK and Europe and will be available to them by the end of this year. 

Testing of a game.

The game, named Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, was first and only tested for Stadia, which was finished in January. Google has also made it clear that this service is not designed for only one game, that means more games will be included in it.
